Alphonse Mucha Goddess with Bear Shower Curtain | Vintage Floral Panel

Alphonse Mucha

Czech, 1860-1939

Alfons Maria Mucha, known internationally as Alphonse Mucha, was a Czech painter, illustrator and graphic artist, living in Paris during the Art Nouveau period, best known for his distinctly stylized and decorative theatrical posters, particularly those of Sarah Bernhardt. He produced illustrations, advertisements, decorative panels, and designs, which became among the best-known images of the period.

Bring an artful, vintage salon into your bathroom with this evocative shower curtain. The one-sided print features a flowing Art Nouveau scene: a poised woman in draped teal fabric beside a powerful, roaring bear, framed by ornate floral and geometric borders in warm, muted tones. The heavy polyester holds rich color and subtle texture, so the image reads like a painted panel even in steamy light. Hang it on a curved rod to create depth, or pair it with dark metal hooks and natural wood accents for an old-world, gallery-like ambience. This curtain transforms a routine morning into a moment of slow, theatrical ritual — a private stage where pattern, color, and a hint of wildness set the mood.
